Spectrum Normalization (3) -discussion on the normalization of neutron spectra under coincidence condition: E570

The essential idea to normalize the obserbed neutron spectra is discussed here. Several important note follows:

1. The neutron spectrum has own difficulty for the normalization, and the situation is essestially different from the x-ray case, although they seem to be similar at a glance. The difference originates from the fact that x-ray emission can be considered to be independent to the successive nuclear reaction, while final state charged particle emission probability and momentum distribution are strongly affected by the neutron which we try to measure.

2. The normalization of the overall spectrum is impossible within the experimentall scheme of E549.

3. Regardless the facts 1/2, "upper limit" for tribaryon formation and decay can be given by "% of stopped K-" unit, if the "upper limit" is defined as described in the document.
